The Opportunity: Hire Controller
Location: Haydock
Salary: £27,500
Contract: 6 Months FTC

The Impact you will have:
- Manage internal hires to support the sales and operational teams
- Set up agreements and locate and allocate assets
- Book transport and workshop PDI's for STH hires
- Raise and send hire agreements to customers
- Working closely with the Sales Teams to develop a close relationship with regional STH customers ensuring that regular contact is maintained by telephone and site attendance.
- Send quotes to STH customer when required
- Pass all opportunities and lost sales to the Developers so that all pending opportunities can be chased
- Working with the STH Sales Manager, ensure that specific customer requirements are available within the branch structure and provides low cost to serve options for STH customers.
- Working with the STH Sales Manager and Sales Teams look to develop new product offerings for STH customers
- Complete local market analysis on a bi-annual basis comparing hire rates, transport rates, competitor offers to ensure that the Briggs offer is relevant and market competitive.
- Assist with carrying out regular customer satisfaction surveys with all existing customers to ensure that STH offers customers a good quality service at a rate which is current within today's market.
- Communicate customer concerns in a professional manner
- Work to targets produced by the STH Sales Manager
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Excellent communicator and telephone manor
- Strong organisation skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and driven to work towards targets
- Product knowledge beneficial
- Experience in Tele-marketing would be preferable
- Computer literate and Excel knowledge
- Experience in Hiring of Capital Equipment
- Team player with the ability to support others
